Bicycle Film Festival Sydney Nov 17th-21st

November 1, 2010 by

In less then three weeks the Bicycle Film Festival arrives in Sydney.  This year there are some amazing films from all over the place.  In particular “The Birth of Big Air”, directed by Spike Jonze, is an amazing film about Mat Hoffman one of the god fathers of modern BMX.

Also along with the films the BFF crew is putting on a bit of a party.  There will be an after party every night and other amazing events too.

The Ride: life in the bike exhibition is going to be a blast.  Check out the site here

We are helping with “The City to Surf” Alleycat on Sunday and with the Goldsprint event on Friday night at Sweeney’s hotel in the city.  Keep an eye on the Le Pista Blog for more info as we get it.

Beernutt!

July 14, 2010 by

This new product from BO Gear has been a long time coming.

One of those clever, quirky, multi-use cycling accessories that are getting more and more popular. And with good reason, the more uses, the more practical. So long as it does the job properly, right?

Well I can assure you the boys in Brisbane painstakingly drank case after case of beer, in the name of research, just to bring you this product.

A humble top tube pad by day (to protect your precious frame from dings and paint chips) and the ultimate party accessory by night.

Let me introduce the Beernutt:

May you never get caught in public with a coozie around your wrist again!
